Presented by the International Housewares Association (IHA), the Global Innovation Awards celebrate innovation across the housewares industry. The original design was created by zyliss’ founder, Swiss inventor Karl Zysset, who drew inspiration from the simple mechanics of a bicycle handbrake - an influence still visible in the tool’s distinctive handle design today.
